Little Xanthe (4.5weeks) has a very painful and huge abcess inside her nose, and her face is so swollen, it looks dreadful. There is a tiny scrape of skin off her jowl which looks like pups have been playing and rip the surface, (not a bite mark, more of a graze) The abcess is so huge she can no longer breath through her nose and it looks dreadfull.  She is on Synulux AB's. I have tried a cooling compress and also a warming one to try and relieve some of the pain, but I feel really quite helpless. It will take a couple of days for the AB's to kick in, so if anyone has any suggestions at all, I would be extremely grateful.
