Can I just tell you about my friends dogs that have been stolen overnight whilst they were in the house watching tv, her husband was almost run over trying to stop them. They had improved security and moved the dogs further onto their property with an extension being added where the dogs used to live but still they've got in and the gaul of stealing whilst they were in the house.
It is the Kiesyl pommeranian kennels again and this time they have taken 8 dogs including 2 irish imports as well as her foundation line dog and bitch that she has been working on for almost 20 yrs, the grandfather was taken last time a couple of years ago when she was hit in the April and August. It is believed the same people have come back for a new 'supply' of dogs for sale possibly pre ordered.
Please if anyone hears or see's any new adult or older pommie pups in their area advise the police and the DTA or sylvia direct on 01630 638767 - I really don't know how she's gonna cope this time.

So sorry to hear of this, they must be devastated, and for a 3rd time :-(
what area do your friends live?
Em
God send my regards. They may not remember me as I haven't shown a Pom. for about 3 years now, but I remember them.
I don't know what I'd do if anybody stole my dogs, although I had one taken 3 years ago and luckily she found her way back to my parents 2 weeks later.

Now that is just terrible! :( Nobody's safe anymore....... lucky my Billy (the Chihuahua) screams like crazy if anyone he doesn't know wants to pick him up! What do you think they do with these dogs? I mean they can't really breed or sell them for a lot of money as they don't have propper papers for them.......
Unfortunately the price of Pomeranian's has gone sky high in the last 3 years or so. We were selling our KC reg, champ. lines for £300 three years ago and felt cheeky at selling them for that, I believe that now the breed is going for around £800 ! Seems a very steep rise in such a short space of time.
I've seen DLRC registered ones going for £550!

Yes I guess prices change like that. I have seen the prices of Chihuahua puppies in UK and I have to say that they are just too much!! They ask £1000 and up for KC reg and £800 for unregistered ones! How about that??!!

You have just answered your own question they steal them and can breed from them and sell them unregitered or make up papers with one of these pseudo registries.
Hi Read this dreadful news on doglost.plz pass on my thoughts to the breeders.
hoping they will soon be home where they rightfully belong..

This is absolutely terrible, I am sure that myself and everyone on this site will look out for these dogs. I can not believe the lengths that some people will go to. I would be so distraught if my dogs were taken. Please send my wishes to the poor couple. I think they need to get ultra security on their premises so that alarm bells and the whole chabang goes off and straight to the police station. I'm afraid if I ever caught them I know exactly where I would put my shot gun. (I know I shouldn't say that, I am speaking hypothetically)

Oh how terrible, I truly feel for them. IT seems to be a waive of Toy breed thefts. At least I have 1 of mine back now. You think, when your dogs are locked up inside your own home they are safe, it is the most devastating feeling to see they are gone.
bye

What kind of nasty bas*ards make a liveing stealing peoples pets.It is one of the lowest forms of illigal activeties there is.

junkies are one type of nasty B who steal dogs but this one seems to be a bit more professional. Sounds like similar thing to stealing cars to order

Seems that some 'people' are breeding toy breeds to terriers for dog fighting as they can make a quicker get away with smaller dogs and need less room for the fighting - was shocked when I heard this from the 'travellers' in shropshire the first time Sylvia got stung but I've asked around here and sure enough it's big business all over the country as well as 'stealing to order' like they do with the parrots.
Hi all
We heard about it on the day and have plasterd it all over our websites and posted everyone we know and everyone we don't know for that matter. Come visit our websites to see what we are doing and how you can help.
