i been looking at blaster over the last couple on months at the champshow.
just bought a blaster and blades for the clipper of ebay and save over£80.and that with pp and converting the blaster to uk elc currants, cannot wait for it to arrive to clip of gollie and tangle and blast them dry
Did you get them from the USA? It always amazes me how much cheaper grooming stuff is outh there. I have a couple of American catalogues and even simpole things like grooming tables are a fraction of the cost. My little fold up table cost me £80 here, and is on sale in the USA for $50! Much less than half price. I walways buy loads of blades and scissors when out there. bye
I know what you mean Gwen, a friend brought a blaster out there at fraction of cost! Hoping that I can do some studying in america in a couple of years time while at uni so will get stuff out there for my dogs. I have seen some lovely leads out there and also only in america can I find my faviourite combs! Maybe I shoudl just move!!! :D
We get our stripping knives out there too, and really excellent slickers. Even when we have to ship them, they are still much cheaper than here, and top class quality. bye Gwen
Might not be such a bargain if you get hammered for import duty! If the goods are worth more than about £20 they may open the parcel and charge you import tax and VAT.
Fingers crossed for you as sometimes they overlook it.
Even with duty and Vat added on importing we get a better deal on the knives and scissors than buying over here. Teh price difference is enormous! bye Gwen
