Moose is lying next to me having one of her puppy dreams woofing her little head off :D So why in real waking life has she never barked

Then there is Dudley who in real waking life is a woofer and woofs when she sees or hears anything outside but has never had a puppy dream ?

:D

Aww. I love those puppy dreams - Purdey would have them, she would be "woofing" in her sleep, her legs would be moving, then her tail would thump - we used to say she was chasing rabbits. Often we would "whistle" her home, and she would seem to sigh, woofs would cease & legs slow down - just as if we called her away from nearly catching that rabbit!
Gemma would do the same thing, as would Cinders- maybe its a "girlie" thing - Thor & Beau don't do it, and I don't remember Simba Tramp or Jet doing it nor our old Nigsy!

Our two boys do it and their not quiet about it either lol First you hear the little barks, then maybe a low growl, then the legs start going lol And also whos dogs snore?? I actually get woken up by Blue snoring!! His worse than a bloke!! Really loud, i have to get up and wake him up to get him to change his position, otherwise he will continue to snore! Noisey sod! :D

Not a girlie thing :) My aunt's beagle, Duke, did it quite a lot and we always said that he was chasing rabbits too :D Bramble and Tara hardly ever have dreams :)

It always fascinates me to see week-old puppies doing it; pups whose eyes and ears haven't yet opened so they've neither seen nor heard anything. Just
what are they dreaming about?
Maybe the dog that they were before :)

Purdey used to stick her tongue out, rolled up, and would suck - right up to 2 weeks before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge!
Changing the subject slightly Chloe - have you and Archie fallen asleep with him "plugged in", and woken up to find him still firmly plugged in ? I remember that well ;)

I'd just like to point out that Archie is my baby and not a puppy - for those readers who may be unfamiliar :D :D :D
Yup, fallen asleep with him attached :) He's on mixed feeds now though - he's sooo hungry that he wasn't satisfied enough, And even though I am a pro BF'er, I had to concede defeat :(
I think sometimes my dog still dreams about his mam, he makes a sucking noise like hes suckling, lol hes 3... bless him

You have done as much as you can and it will not be an issue if you go to Bottle Feeding full time or you can still do duel feeding :)
Stick with it a much as you can but when you decide to say enough is enough then that is not failure :) It is far from it ! :D You have done the best start for Archie and he will be fine ! ;)
I didn't Breast Feed with Indigo which I will not discuss on here (Feel free and PM me if anybody wants to know why :) )
I though have a very healthy young toddler who is thiriving :D

Nipples that need hunting down?!!!

:D
Glazby also snores like a pnuematic drill going off at the end of the bed some nights. OH had a few elbows in the ribs when we very first got Glaz and I thought it was OH snoring ;-)
He also has puppy dreams and will "oof oof" and do deep throaty growls and twitches all over!! :D
My old boy does alot of dreaming, in the middle of the night wer'e sometimes woken by an blood curdling howl which wakes him up as well :-D

It is widely believed that human foetuses dream too...I'd love to know what they dream about.
