i could do with some more hints myself claire! But here are mine....

- don't pander to any anxious / scared dogs-it'll only reward and encourage the behaviour
- act as normal as possible
- try and drown the sound out by turning the tv up, and closing blinds / curtains

i've tried bach rescue remedy, but it didn't work at all! I'm trying the dog-wearing-your-tshirt trick on saturday. At least if it doesn't work, it'll make me smile :D

Some dogs are better able to cope if they can see what is going on, so consider taking your dog outside if possible and 'ooooing and aaaaahing' at the fireworks with them.  This isn't suitable for ALL dogs, but more the barkers than the shakers.....

If you are going out : Possibly leave your t-shirt or an old jumper on him to remind your dog of you.
2. Turn on a small radio or television.
3. Keep your dog entertained. That way he wont have chance to think about the strange noises. Thanks all.
