Ive just bought Gwen Baileys "The perfect puppy". Was this a wise purchase? I think I have heard it mentioned on here before but cant remember if it was a positive or negative mention.
I like the way it has photos and examples. Theres soooo many books out there my head was spinning. I bought it as Im anticipating trouble with my Boxer collie cross lol. Want to get it right first time. I have also booked her in for training classes at My pet stop which is a large pet place that has a big arena inside for flyball, agility, puppy classes, they also have a hydrotherapy pool and kenneling. Quite impressive, but I will see how the classes go.

It certainly ranks among the better books. :)

It's one I would recommend (but I might be a bit biased ;))

I have PM'd you :)
I like her, she doesn't go on about being dominant or anything, and her instructions on training dogs are easy to follow.
warm regards Susan
I have a couple of her books and I think they are really good (lots of pictures!)
Well I believe she has one about puppy schooling so I will off tomorrow to buy that also. Dont know when Im gonna fit the reading in with all the poo shovelling and wee mopping lol Im sat with the perfect puppy on my knee now (the book you understand not an actual perfect puppy, although I wish)
