Does anyone have any contact details for them or even know if this is a true affix, my friend bought a rottweiler who was surpose to be KC reg but all they got were pet shop papers. She has asked me to look as see if the actual pedigree is true i cant find any details of Chasara rottweilers though.

The Kennel Club will tell you if it's a registered affix.
Its got chsara and chasara & chesara on this pedigree, its so hard to find anything.

If you put CHESARA into google search, it does bring up references to rottweilers bearing the affix.

I know that Chesara is a real affix - if you put Chesara rottweiler in to google there are a few bits that come up ;) Not sure about the others tho? Most of the Chesara dogs have 'dark' somewhere in their name, has he been given a ped name?
Think the lines go back quite some time too!
I also believe from looking on some other sites that Larry and Judy Elsden were the breeders
no the dads just called Trunbks the mom Roxy, theres a KC number next to 4 of the dogs on the dams side.Theres names on the sires side such as lady of ladypoo !!
Criky, maybe someone has took it upon themsleves to use the name?

The KC would not register a single name like Roxy, they would use a KC affix upon application, it sounds like a false pedigree to me.

I have sent you a PM BCL ;)
You could try looking on this site, it may help.

What sort of place was the pup bought from?
A house in Wasall out of the local paper :(
I just had a look on google and it appears that this affix is Australian, thats a long way to go for a stud dog.

The Chesara kennels used to be on the A505 just north of Baldock if I remember rightly.

The affix is a UK affix and it is CHESARA, the affix of Judy & Larry Elsden, influential breeders of Rottweilers owning & breeding the very famous stud dog Ch. Chesara Dark Charles. Dog World newspaper ran a breed supplement back in May on the breed with a whole article about the Elsden's & Charles.
This gives you some brief information.

That's right Christine, but "Its got chsara and chasara & chesara on this pedigree
Either the breeder doesn't have any idea of the names that they are writing OR ...........
I think it would be worth checking with the Kennel Club that this puppy is registered and that the names are correct.

Hi Val,
The Chesara name will probably have find it's been written incorrectly on one pedigree and passed down the lines with further mistakes amongst people who don't know!!!
I have just finished looking into the pedigree of my sister's long departed ESS (These online pedigree databases are great!) and one name was missing on his pedigree and another was missing the owner's affix. Likewise on the Munsters pedigrees some of the German names get diddled about with.
