Hi guys, does anyone know how to change the format for downloading files from the internet. At the moment my computer won't download because it is in Quicktime setting! Help

The format which you download files from the internet in depends on what sort of file it is and as far as I know cannot be changed. Pictures will be .jpg, .bmp .gif; videos will be .avi .mpg; music will be .mp3 .wma etc etc I'm not really sure why quicktime would be stopping you downloading any sort of file. Could you give more information? ie are you trying to view a video clip on a web page and quicktime wont play it??
Hi, I'm trying to download a pdf file from the KC website but every time I do it I keep getting an error message that it is a format quicktime doesn't understand.

Go to 'My Computer' - 'Tools' - 'Folder Options' - 'File Types'
Scroll down to 'PDF'. It is probably set to open with Quicktime. Click 'Chenge', browse to Adobe Acrobat Reader and click 'OK'
