Hi, can anyone advise me, my boxer has got quite weepy eyes (on and off), they can seem bloodshot one minute and not when i look an hour later. Someone told me this is fairly typical of boxers, but just thought i'd ask here. (Have joined here but the site wont let me log in,have given up trying, so have to ask question as a guest) Thanks.

It could be that your Boxer is teething.....their eyes go very droopy and red when they are teething..............or it could be Entropia..... which is very common in Boxers......this is where the eyelids turn in on them selves and the lashes rub against the eye, making them sore and red........you can help sooth the eye by putting drops in " Johnsons eye drops " is quite good ( you can get this from pets at home)........... you can have surgury to help this condition...but not till your baby is fully grown, see your vet and take their advice........
There is a very good Boxer site BoxerDogPlanet.com........ that have a lot of very experienced Boxer owners...... that will be able to give you lots of advice..........
Hi thanks for all the helpful suggestions, in the end i took him to the vet as he got a snotty nose as well. He had and eye nose infection and his glands were up. He has just finished his antibiotics and is much better now. And glad to have sorted out the signing in problem! :)
