Hi,

albert has a very sore red eye that seems to have a lot of gunk in it I've soaked it with warm water i can't get to vets until friday! Any suggestions on anything. Anyone else had similar problems with their dogs eyes

Try bathing it with cold tea (no milk, obviously :) )

Hi definitely take him to the vet, dont mess around where eyes are concerned, it could be something serious like entropian where cold tea is going to have no affect whats so ever.

i adgree with susantwenty, the vet is a must.
in the mean time a gentle wipe with cold tea
might help until you get proper treatment
