For the past week, Breeze has been sick most nights, I am taking her to the vet for the first time tomorrow night to have her checked out as its gone on for too long. It is usually at night a couple of hours after she has eaten.

My rugs are taking a hammering  and getting hubby to clean it up

I would make her something bland to eat but I currently have nothing to cook on as kitchen is being done.

She has a very excitable day trying to get the builders to play with her and is kept away from any of the dirt. She is in her pen outside during the day and in the lounge at night, so I am sure its not something she has picked up and eaten.

She is not down and is her happy nutty self but am a little worried.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry Sarah, can't offer any advice.  Just wanted to say good Luck at the vets tomorrow and I hope she gets better very soon

I think the vets is the best place.
She could of ate something which is blocking the way of food.  Or it could be a virus. Or simply she has an empty stomach as some dogs need food little and often.  In my breed Weimaraners some retch first thing in the morning if they dont get their last feed of the day. If they have something in their stomach last thing at night it stops this.
