How long is a piece of string. seriously though, you should start with 4 meals a day, reducing to 3 at about 12 weeks, then two at 5 or 6 months, then just one if you wish after 9 months to a year. Amount? what he will clear from his dish in 10 to 15 minutes, remove uneaten food. Feel his body, you should be a ble to feel the structure underneath quite easily without seeing his ribs. If he is ravenous by his next meal increase it alittle, if he is leaving food, reduce the size of meals slightly, remeber as he is growing the amounts will have to be adjusted. A four or 5 month puppy will be eating about half as much again as an adult, so remember that intake will gradually reduce again as he approaches maturity.
