thank you all for the kind welcome.  well were do I start with my 7 horses, they are my other halfs aswel.  My baby is daizi 15hh shire X 10yr old piebald mare, Buttons black 15 yr old shetland pony, puzzle 15.1hh hackney X, 7yr old piebald mare, splash 14.3 mare dun appaloosa blanket spot 12 yrs old, murphy, black clydsdale x 14.1hh gelding 5yrs, jo 15.1hh bay standard bred trotter stallion 3 yrs old and finally sassie 16hh 3yr old mare skewbald 3/4 standard bred trotter, I ride and do some jumping, my other half is into harness racing with his trotting mare sassie.  they are all lovely but hard work.

Is there anyone else on here have horses?

Awww, they sound lovely.

Haven't got a horse at the mo. I am a riding instructor and still teach privately now and again.  I can't wait to get another one.   The last horse I had was a 16.3hh ID/TB Mare.  A real stunner.

Unfortunatley the place I want for Livery charges up to £150 p/w for livery.  Even DIY is only just under £100 i think.  So I will either have to find an alternative livery yard or just get a fabulous payrise

OMFG that is so expensive, try and rent a place of your own, thats what we do we have a few fields we rent of local farmers, we have been lucky and are in the process of buying a smallholding which we will eventually build stables and a school on.  They are hard work but ao rewarding, I cant imagin my life with out them.

Could you not do a deal with a riding school cheap livery in return for lessons????  Its worth a try.
