
Well, as a rule Male Yorkies that are shown are bred to be around 4 to 4 and a half pounds, whereas the bitches are bred to be around 7 to 7 and a half pounds at the most! Obviously for breeding purposes the bitches need to be bigger! I would recommend that you speak to either Pat Mitchell from the Yorkie club, who is a very nice helpful lady, who holds a list of who has puppies available, or contact your breed secreatary, from the clubs nearest to you. These are all listed on the Kennel Club site, under the breed standard and have contact phone numbers there too...I've recently bought a ickle boy, he's 12 months old now and I am expecting another from the breeder in a couple of weeks.
