Hiya

I am not sure what has happened to my little girl, but I took her to the groomers on Sat afternoon with her older brother.  She did not want to go into the groomers, but she really needed a cut as her hair was blocking her view.  When I picked her up she as fine for a few hours but by the nigth she had turned into a right little cow and kept attacking her brother for no reason.  At first we thought that she might be sleepy and being a grump, but the same thing happed last night and this morning.  And the attacks are getting very nasty.  She has never been like this before and she had her second season 2 months age, so it can't be that.  She is fine with me and my partner and the change is so quick that I am not sure what the problem is!  She does not seem to be in pain and is eat fine!  Any ideas???

Did you stay at the groomers with her?    Do you know if any other dog went for her and frightened her whilst she was waiting to be groomed?

The reason I ask this is because this is what happened to one of my girls when I took her to a groomers - I was suffering from a frozen shoulder at the time, and had to show her the following day, and if I had attempted to bath/groom her out, I would have been in no state to show her - so I took her to a reputable groomer locally, and left her there.   She was bathed groomed, and seemed absolutely fine - but the following day, when I got her to the show and put her up on the bench, she went absolutely ballistic at every other dog near her, and even caught me with her teeth.    I took her off the bench and she calmed down, but I didn't even attempt to show her - I just took her home :(

A couple of weeks later, I heard that a small jack russell had come flying into the grooming parlour from the stables, and had a go at her, whilst she was benched prior to being bathed and groomed.   Its taken a lot of work to get over this - so the same sort of thing might have happened to your girl.

Or, judging by the time of her last season, she may be having a phantom or have an infection - I would have her checked at the vets to be on the safe side.
