What makes it even better is Roni's girl, Beth, is a fawn the least seen colour of Beardie in the ring along with the tri colours.

It is very hard to even get placed with a fawn & there's never been a fawn Champion in the UK-there was a bitch with two CC's but she never got the third & didn't do really well until she was mature. Colour shouldn't really come into it unless the dog is mismarked & a good few fawns get overlooked as poor browns because judges only know the brown & slates

Under a judge who is very keen on construction too so that speaks volumes too

So true, many judges just don't recognise the colour so well done you. 

I''ve been told my Blue boy will go black with age, what a giggle, you only have to look at his lovely blue nose and coat to see hes not a slate.

We were in puppy Beth qualified at nine months under Alan Archer in South Wales.

Beth also has a loss of pigment on the end of her nose which has been commented on by some judges but he wasnt interested .....the judge did ask me to do an extra circle then walked straight over and placed me first!!! .......so pleased I can't tell you...
