I am having to do a charity calendar for our local Young farmers Club at the weekend....you know the sort!!!!! :)
Now its not really my normal line of photography as those who know me on here know!  I desperately need some ideas for poses. Mainly hunky young lads but one or two gals as well.  Any ideas please let me know.

Some hay bales, a nice BIG (behave yourself girls :d) tractor.  For the smaller guy a fork (for the hay).  Ooooh, yes and you could have me :d  I'm still looking for a man and one with loads of land would be ideal!

Edited to say maybe a nice Border Collie strategically placed, or a lamb :d
- By ClaireyS Date 26.10.05 22:35 UTC
just be careful where you place the sheep :D :D
- By CherylS Date 26.10.05 23:12 UTC
What do you mean?  Ideas for clothing?  Like baggy dungarees for bare chested men or are they all going to be nude?

Lifting a bale of hay? side shot just obscuring whatever you need?
Lady Godiva shot on Shire horse
Milking cow - sitting on stool, back shot
Tractor already been mentioned
Climbing ladder in hay barn (carrying something)

Imagination getting carried away now so better stop :D

Hello,

Maybe this will give you some ideas????  Calendars
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 27.10.05 06:35 UTC
Why would a bull just be wearing wellies?

;)

Male, full chaps - nowt else. Photographed from behind looking over his shoulder at the camera ;)
- By Alli [gb] Date 27.10.05 13:52 UTC
Chloe what a fab idea, hmm thats fairly woken me up. Oh dear my poor OH I think I'm going to have to invest in some chaps !

To my mind there is something extremely appealing about a bloke wearing nothing but jeans with the buttons undone, so maybe you could do some thing similar with a pair of grimy (have to be grimy to show off the lovely clean bare bits) overalls.

Blood pressure girls Blood pressure ;-)

Straw in all the right places, and straw hats ;-)
- By sam Date 27.10.05 14:03 UTC
trying to keep to a farming theme but definitely NO SHEEP :)   Like the milking stool idea. Also think one holding a calf and one holding a bale of straw. One of them is a fencing contractor so will try to think along lines of post driver & hope the driver is big enough!!!!  Thought a quad bike would come in useful as well!  keep those ideas coming in please!
- By Val [gb] Date 27.10.05 14:04 UTC
And you excuse for watching all these antics is that you're holding a camera is it Sam?? ;)
- By Blue Date 27.10.05 14:55 UTC
ROFLOL it will be an absolute laugh doing it Sam. Think you may need a few assitants.. ( Raises her hand higher than everyone else ) :-D :-D

Are these photos going to be shot on a working farm?

Wondering what type of machinery they will have?

Will they have a hopper?  How do hoppers work?  Do you put the whole grain in from a sack?  If so farmer holding sack to feed hopper?

Old fashioned plough on site?  Farms often have old stuff around.  Fields have not long been ploughed as well.

What about lifting hens to collect eggs?  Feeding chickens? bird seed sack covering vitals

What about sleeping on hay bales? You know working boots, tilted hat?

Ooh getting hot and bothered now :D

The Club we both belong to are doing a calendar of male members with their ... errr ... members covered by examples the breed we both own. Maybe a job for Damson and Envy? :D

PS - I won't be buying a Club calendar this year. The male members look quite bad enough with their clothes on!
- By CherylS Date 27.10.05 17:07 UTC

nICOLa, I found that site too today.......however I was terribly shocked to see at least three people i either went to school or college with on there!!!!! What a shock.  Put me right off!!! However its given me some great ideas for poses. its being shot on a beef/sheep farm so hoping they have some calves. may have to take some of my own hens as props....plus Andrew says he will lend me his shotgun/quad/chainsaw......hes mildly curious as not yet told him the WHOLE story about this shoot!!!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 27.10.05 19:57 UTC
Oooh, November was quite cute :d
- By munkeemojo Date 27.10.05 20:01 UTC
