can anyone help, my 6month boy pulls on the lead badly which makes him gasp like he's choking (he is going to training) someone suggested a harness instead of a lead, but i'm sure i read something once that said you shouldnt use a harness on a deep chested dog like a boxer. any suggestions? Thanks

I found that a harness made my boy (not a boxer, but deep-chested) pull harder because he could put more strength into it. I'm afraid patience and perseverence with a normal collar and lead was what paid off in the end...only took the best part of a year but he walks very well now :rolleyes: :)
