The shops are open In Harrogate and Leeds on Sundays. Harrogate's tend to open about 11.00am - not sure about Leeds - think it's about the same time. Does he like walking? There's loads of lovely walks around the area - or Fountains Abbey for example - ab fab.

Weather permiting the site of the Leeds show is very pleasant for anyone liking the outside world, a walk and a picnic would be very pleasant and I bet there is a public golf course or swimming pool near by. Jackie H

thanks a lot people I will send him off shopping, He likes to look for new ideas for his computer. Drives to dog shows under protest so we have got to keep him happy so that he will drive when we need him.

all a reason why you should take driving lessons-then you can leave him twisting at home--i was getting on when i past my test for that very reason, you can only be so nice for so long

sorry Dizzy driving is not an option for me but, Gillian (satincollie) and myself are trying to get her daughter Joanne to learn as we usually travel to shows together. So at the moment we are still being nice. Its harder work than showing LOL

wouldnt it be a good idea if the shows supplied a HUBBY CRECHE, for those of you that have to take them along to drive----all theyd need is a cardboard cut out of jordan---a tv---and a few newspapers to hide behind whilst ogling jordan and they could be left there safely for the day---:D
