i know how important it is to let puppies mouth and learn there enviroment.
however i was wondering how exactly do you teach the pup that they are biting too hard with out scaring them away from wanting to do it.

my 7 week old pup loves to mouth which i am sure is very natural, however sometimes she mouths a bit too hard and at the moment when she does it i make a noise to distract her and she stops. i have noticed that after several attemps during the day she starts to be more gentle, but th enext day or after a vigous chew session with one of her toys she starts to mouth hard again.

any ideas?
