What did everyone think of the X Factor last night?  I think that the two who had the least votes last night (Chico and the girl group) should never have been in the top twelve to start with!

I really like Chenai(sp.?) and I liked the last man that sang, I think his name was Antony or something like that, the rest were good through to absolute bobbins!! :)

Andy the bin man was excellent as was Brenda. Don't think much of the groups and I hope Chico goes asap he just cannot sing!

I think the bottom 2 were the right ones as that girl group were awful.  I don't like Chico much but he is an entertainer.

I like Andy, Brenda and Shane :-) I think Louis made the wrong decision last night as a personal vendetta against Simon which was very unfare :-( I dont think the girl group we're brilliant but Chico can't sing full stop....and personally i think Sharon was wrong for putting him in her final 4.

I really hoped that Chico was going to be a goner. I think that in the initial auditions the only one that had any sense was Simon, as for Sharon and Louis putting him through was disgraceful and both have gone down in my estimation.
I hope a precedence hasn't been set allowing him through that last round.
Is there anyone out there that actually likes Chico?? 

I am beginning to distrust Sharon and Louis in that I think that they didn't put through the ones with the most talent, but chose the ones who would make the best Tele........NOT the right thing to do!!  It doesn't seem fair when you think how hard some of them had worked. The three little blonde girls should never have been sent home in favour of the girl group who were sent home last night!  Chico is rubbish!

What i'm more worried about is.....what happens next week if it's one of Simon's groups and chico in the bottom 2 again and Louis choses Chico to stay because he has a vendetta against Simon :-( that will be so unfare, how can the public ever vote Chico out because there is always 2 that have to go up against the judges.

I saw his neck movements Balibee. Me and my boyfriend both looked at each other an laughed when he did that!! Not sure if he thought he was popping or locking to the beat but he looked stoooopid!!

The only hope we have of getting rid of Chico is if he is voted into the bottom two with one of Louis' group! :)

My favourites are Shayne and Andy, closely followed by Brenda and Chenai. I think the groups are trying too hard and it spoils their performances. 
I do think the rivalry between the judges gets in the way a bit  - but it's probably all part of their contract.

Yes lets hope that Chico and one of Louis are in the bottom 2 this week....then Chico will be out :-) Mel, Brenda also sent a shiver down my spine when she sang....she has a very powerful voice :-)

Because Chico was sooo bad I wondered if he was actually a 'plant' - that he could actually sing & would miraculously improve as time went on - but I think I've just got an overactive imagination!!

I originally thought Chico's reason for being there because he was one of many 'pawns' Sharon had used.  If you looked at her top 7 that she took to her house, Maria was outstanding, and Andy showed signs of being really good too, the rest just seemed to be previously unnoticed people who made lots of mistakes and I reckoned that she was ensuring a lot of bad acts which were expendable (is that the right word?) would give Maria an excellent chance of staying in to the final as all the other acts in her group would undoubtedly be voted off in the earlier stages.  I'm still not convinced this isn't exactly what she did!

However, I would now have to say that my favourite three are Chico, Andy and Maria and although I think that Brenda is never going to be a top-selling artist and probably doesn't have much chance of winning (for the same reasons as Rowetta - its not the kind of act that 15 year old kids want to spend their pocket money on), she is a good singer and now I'm starting to wonder whether my original thoughts on Sharon's choices were wrong and she has in fact picked people with a good chance.

So yes, I am the one person who likes Chico!  Not because I think he can sing, I realise he is verging on the not-so-good, but because he is so entertaining to watch, exactly what I want to see from a pop star.

Think Robbie Williams. Always my favourite in Take That and when he left and everyone asked if I was heartbroken, not at all, I knew he had the personality and character that would take him on to much better things and he wasn't going to just fade away.  A lot of people say that Robbie can't sing, but he is 100% a showman, and whilst I wouldn't dare to compare Chico to the almighty Robster, it does go to show you that if you can sing a bit but more importantly, have the enthusiasm, the personality and the stage presence you can go far - as far as being the UK's top male popstar in Robbie's case!

Its X-Factor - meaning you have a little something extra/diffferent from your average good singer -which is why G4 have gone much further than Steve ever will (still can't work that one out - he's a good singer, but not much else!)

But............Chico WAS voted one of the two least favoured by the 'public' who would possibly buy the records! He got right up my nose!

I was glad that the girls were voted of and not CHico becuase he is at least funny to watch, they were just terrible!  i hope he is voted of though because he clearly thinks he is so much better than he actually is!  I think Andy has a great voice, he doens't need to 'try' and sign, it just happens - fab!  Quite a few goodies this time though, not sure baout that boy band, the 4 lads - but the 2 are great :)

I like Chico. He's rubbish, but he's entertaining.

Steve was a bore - no personality - he''s a crooner, and I'd rather see someone with spirit win it. Chico rather reminds me of Darius - and look how he came on...

I think the only person who sung in these shows who had absolute rare talent was Will Young.  He used to make my spine tingle every single time I heard him, and the proof is there, as he's pretty much the only one who's made a career out of it I think!

Out of this lot in X factor I like Andy, the brother duo, and the bigger coloured lady.  The four girls who got voted off were absolutely dreadful - were so out of tune it was unreal!!

Its not really the winners who come out best from these (Will being the exception!). Look at G4, liberty X! etc They both came 2nd and are doing so much better than the winner!

What a show tonight :-( I'm gutted.

I am appalled. I just knew that Chico was going to get through but what a way to treat those 2 final acts. Sharon may have had a dilemma but holding off for so long then initially sending the wrong act home, it was just awful. If I had been her I would have kept them and voted Chico off LOL!!

In spite of my comments about last week's show, I did think that Chico performed quite well tonight!  However, it is sickening the way that Sharon always sides with Louis and it is becoming a vendetta against Simon at the expense of his group!  Chenai was nowhere near as good as 4tune tonight in my opinion!

I think he was better tonight but I think most of the singing was done by the backing group.............but hey it isn't necessarily down to the singing, is it?
It's having the X Factor and he hasn't got it ;-) Think I will apply next year, now that should be good for a laugh

I thought the act's were a lot better this week, I really like Shane, Journey South, Brenda and Andy, I think the only one that did worse than the first week was Chenai, which is a shame because I really liked her the week before. As for Chico, I actually quite like him, I don't think he will win it, I don't think he deserves to win it, but I will be very surprised if he doesn't release at least one album off the back of it. Does anyone else think that that Nicholas is just plain awful? And Phillip, not made my mind up yet, I think he could be very very good if he could get over his nerves and if he started singing the right sort of genre, I think he could do very well with an Elvis song or as he said himself a bit of 'rock 'n' roll' :D Maria, I do think she is a good singer and again I will be very surprised if she doesn't get an album released, but I think we have seen too many others the same as her before, she is very good but in my opinion she hasn't got anything special enough to make her stand out from all of the other young, pretty, warblers in the charts today!! ;) Last but not least The Conway Sisters, they were 100 times better last night than I had ever seen them before, but there was one that was just shrieking in the back ground, apart from that one (couldn't work out who it was!) they were good, but again I don't think they were good enough!

I do think that Sharon should have been more professional and should (now it has got to make or break) stop being so soft. The rifts between the judges are all part of the show, and mostly Simon brings it on himself, he made it very obvious that he wasn't happy at all with the groups, he obviously has put very little into this years shows, and the fact that two of his groups have now been thrown out just goes to show it, but there is still something about him and I find that he is one of those people that I just love to hate!! Louis is a big girls blouse isn't he? He made the very valid point of Simon not knowing his band members names, but I think he is always trying to be something he isn't, and he really sees the show as a competition between him and Simon and not the act's themselves, which really isn't fair on the act's.

Jessthepest I can see why you thought Robbie Williams re Chico - being an entertainer. His singing isn't the best but atleast he's good fun to watch.

Did anyone watch the xtra factor on itv2 last night? Sharon said she only choose Chenai because she was a woman...... How sexest is that :-( I personally thought Phillip was rubbish, same as last week....he always sounds flat. 4Tune was not the best last night but they certainly didn't deserve to go

I agree Kerry, I thought 4tune should have stayed.  I like Chenai but I think she sings through her nose, you can hear it when she sings - she's not good enough to win. My friend thinks that 4tune shouldn't win because they don't 'shine' but I think it must be hard for a 'boy band' to shine in any way other than the fact that they can sing and look good!  They shouldn't have gone, and I hope Chenai goes next week now (sorry Chenai!!!)

I think you might be right. I know there's got to be a certain amount of 'banter' between the judges for entertainment sake, but they take it too far, I actually felt sorry for Simon last night. Everything he said about the acts I completely agreed with, the young lad couldn't sing a note and I was amazed to see that out of three that were in the bottom, he was the one who was voted to stay in by the public - incredible!  It's a shame for Chenai that she has that proboem, but if it effects her singing then that's just life unfortunately!!!

I also agreed with most of Simon's comments, but I have to say I thought his group that went last week were awful - and this week I thought 4tune were also rubbish! I am not overly keen on Chanai <sp?>'s voice either, so I didn't mind who went. However, I think Simon will only get anywhere with the two guys because its hard for the public to identify with a group of people as opposed to an individual - and when he can't even remember their names what hope do they have?!

I agree :-) But if Chenai and one of Simon's groups are in the bottom 2 next week....then we know who's going :-( i thought it was a public vote, it's all politics this year :-(
