Hello

I live in Ely City Cambs and I have been advised that a whippet would be the most suitable 2nd dog for us.  We currently have 10 year old Border Terrier who is a slightly crusty old fella.  Our vet's nurse thinks the temperament of a whippet would be compatible with Rusty and so we are looking to home (or buy) a whippet as pet.  We may well visit Mildenhall Rescue but with all sympathy and due respect to Rescue dogs we may also consider a dog from another reputable source -possibly ex breeding britch  or whose owner has become ill.  we are middleaged and have no kids.   Any comments or advice welcome.

You haven't left contact details, so your post may well be removed, but why don't you get in touch with one of the breed clubs (There is an East Anglian one) They may well know of an older bitch which would be suitable for you & your BT
