Keith Shea From Lancashire will travel to you, he travels all over the country. Here's his mobile Number as this is the quickest way to speak to him being on the road most of the day 07973415088

Im having my bitch scanned on wednesday by a sheep scanner, Sam, she recommends scanning during the fourth week after the last mating.

cheers - how reliable are vet scans at 21 days
- By Daisys [gb] Date 20.10.05 13:42 UTC
Im not sure to be honest, Normally i think the vet scans between 4 and 5 weeks as the pups are bigger then and can been seen more easily.

rang today left message on his answer phone how much does he charge and what is the difference between sheep scan and vet scan
- By peilady [gb] Date 21.10.05 07:10 UTC
Keith normally charges £30.00 ( not sure if he adds a little for fuel costs) as I live not far from him. The difference between a sheep/pig scanner and a vet, is that the sheep/pig scanner does this on a more frequent daily basis, and tends to be more accurate than a vet that may see one a week if you're lucky, so not as skilled. In my opinion.

Anyone know of or can recommend a sheep scanner near Burton on Trent/Swadlincote/Derby?  I normally go over to Market Drayton (just over an hours drive on a good day) but if there's anyone more local then that would be great :-)
