I'm looking into buying this gsd.  What colouring do you think it will have when its grown up?

No help here, just had to say he's gorgeous!!!  He's got exactly the markings of my girly (she's a 1/4 GSD), except she's got tan on her muzzle.

He'll probably end up the typical tan colour with a black saddle and mask. As he grows up it's likely that the tan will "creep"/the black will recede.

got the same markings as my gsd cross (3/4 gsd) infact looks like her as a pup! she is 5 months now and going quite alot lighter on her head and ears and the gold is spreading wider and lightening as the longer adult hair comes through. i didnt actually realise gsd's changed colouring with age, i met a women in the park the other day with 5 year old, she said hers looked like mine as a pup and hers now is gold and blond all over with hardly any black, apparantly she didnt know they can change colour so dramitically either!
