
One year is much too young to be bred and as a dog has to be at least 12 months to be able to be hip scored I'd guess this hasn't been done either..? Not good. Anyway, none of what you describe are really signs of whelping being imminent. You really should have read up on everything long before now, to be prepared. Signs of whelping will include starting to pant heavily, pacing, nesting (a LOT more than just pushing the bedding about a bit, we're talking digging here) -and this can go on for 36 hours or so before the actual labour starts. The temperature will also drop low.
