Well, my puppy got 2nd out of 5 today, so that was very pleasing - several people said she is improving. I just want her to get on and have a season now!! My boy got RBOB which was slightly disappointing, but he hopped and skipped round the ring, and the bitch that beat him is beautiful! :-)

Thanks Susan! Not bad for a puppy someone told me wasn't worth taking to shows! Only problem now is I'm going to have to try and get her in one or two more shows before she turns 1 year old, see if we can scrape a BP award!!

Well done Lucy :) Just remember that the showing puppy stage is so short and often dogs that do well as puppies kinda go off when they mature and never do well, just as dogs who do nowt as pups turn into lovely adults!
Beard Boy only has about 6 weeks left of his puppy career and although BP awards are nice I cannot wait until he matures and is in with a shot at the big time, puppies can be such weird things( :D), going through all kinds of odd stages and you just have to go with it :D Just what I've learnt in our time showing.
Best of luck..the best thing about a BP at a champ show is that you get a car sticker :D My doesn't quite look the part yet tho as I only have 2 :P

Yeah, I got a car sticker when I got BOB at a champ show - but I lost the darn thing! Still got the Pedigree bag though, it's now my show bag! My OH will of course go mad when he finds I'm sneaking in yet more dog shows!!
