My much loved cocker spainiel has just been put down having been attacked by a larger dog.
The house is very empty and I am anxious have a cocker spainel puppy in the near future - Jan onwards.

I am not able to help you but I am sure there are people here who can. I just wanted to say how very sorry I am for you with what happened to your other dog. I have got a young puppy who is just old enough to go for a walk and I am terrified when another dog comes up to her just in case it is nasty.

Anne, I am so sorry you lost your beloved pet in such awful circumstances I hope a new companion will help you in time.
Debbie please don't let this stress you out, in 30 years of dog owning I have experienced a handfull of minor spates but never anything this serious, I would doubt anything like this will touch the lives of most dog owners.

Have you tried the Shooting Times? There are usually quite a few litters in there each week. ST can be bought in WH Smith.

There is a litter being advertised in the horse and hound, blue roan puppys, is this of any help.
