Looks like tonight is the night for my girlie. She's had none of her feed all day (usually demolished the second it hits her bowl) doing lots of poops and some re-arranging of her bed. She's panting only slightly so i expect i should grab my magazines, a big flask of coffee and sit and ride it out, hoping and praying we have pups by the morning and not going through this all again tomorrow lol (Oh how we love them so lol)

Good Luck, Bears Mum. Hope all goes well. Mine are 12 days old now, she started at 1.30 am and finished at 8.30 am. My days and nights just run into one. I never know what day of the week it is.
But MY GOD its all worth it, they opened their eyes today.

No pups as yet, still in the bed scratching stage (My last girl did so for 5 days) Im secretly hoping she'll hang on as she is only 59 days from 1st mating she was mated 4 times, so could be any number of days :-(

We're still waiting the arrival of the pups, after our panic yesterday of the possibilty of dead pups, we are alot calmer today lol. She's still not eating, digging up her bed, but still very happy and active in herself so i suppose its just down to mother nature :-) I could do with some sleep though lol

Will post some puppy breath to you all as soon as they arrive :-)

Any news?

We're still waiting :-( Still showing ALL signs of the 1st stages of labour, bed digging, refusing food, panting but she's hanging on to them. Vet scanned her again this AM just to make sure all was well in there, and everything is as it should be, so now we just have to wait..... however three sleepless nights now are starting to take their toll on me :-)

She's happy in herself, chasing her ball and wagging her tail lol. Will be sure to let all know when she finally graces us with her babies :-) Pics will be available for anyone wishing to see.

My girl was rushed in to the vets for an emergency C section, we are just waiting for news. I will post as soon as i know more, and can stop crying enough to see the damn computer :-(

Try not to worry too much, I am sure the vet's know what they are doing, and will do everything they can for your girl, and the pups.

Just home, my girl is doing okay. Still very sleepy!!!! We have 2 surviving pups :-) both girls :-) The problem was a dead puppy, looks to have been dead for 10 days or so now. Smallest pup is having a bit of trouble suckling but she's getting there :-)

What a relief your girl is ok.  You felt things weren't right such a long time ago, you're instincts were right.  Congratulations on your pups :)

Yeah its just a shame my on call vet didnt share my concerns in the small hours of the night! But we'll not be bitter :-) we have our baby home, and 2 beautiful puppies :-)

Good luck with the two pups you have got, was it just one you lost or more, any way cin up and enjoy your new little ones warm regards debbie.

Update: Smallest puppy has made it through the night, needed a little help at first finding the teat but now she's doing grand! However mum has gone all puppy proud and does not like me touching them lol however my OH can touch them all he likes so he had to stay up last night going in every 2 hrs to put pups on lol Suits me fine, i had a lovely long sleep lol

Pups are doing great, both are putting on weight and getting bigger by the day. We have a lovely quiet one, and then a really noisy one lol. Will update piccys soon. :-)
