Has anyone fed this particular Chudleys' complete food? If so, can you let me know if its muesli or extruded type?
Many thanks
Sam

Sam, I did use it, but so long ago I can't remember! But I am going to the feed shop later so I'll have a look for you, I thought it was a muesli one cos I'm sure I remember 'cornflakes' all over the floor as the dog didn't like them bits!

Hi sam,

Ooooooh this was fate! I got a sample of Chudleys Junior from D&H today through an e-mail enquiry to them. It is a kibble type food not a flake. My little 'Monsterlander' Curtis is very fussy. He wouldn't
entertain Nutro that I had been feeding him and his littermates on, Advance was refused. So I got a bag of Burgess Supadog puppy and he's ok with that, the sample of D&H Junior went down without touching the sides!!!

I was going to put a posting on to see what others though of this food but as your thread is here, I'l just tag on! ;)

So has anyone had any success with Dodson and Horrell foods?

Lil

I've been feeding my 3 on it for the last 18months after it was recommended by the owner of the feed supplier I get my food from. I needed a lower protein, quality food for the GSP. 2 are fussy eaters but we have never had a problem with it, I use Chudley Classic or Chudley Gold, it is the Original that is the flake type stuff. Hi.
I have never liked Chuddleys dog food (I haven't tried it myself) seems to contain loads of wheat and cereal. Feed 'em meat Sam, they will enjoy it much more.
Dawn.

Thanks to all who helped me with this enquiry.....goes to show that champdogs are more helpful than Chudleys......i am still awaiting a reply from them 4 days later!
Dawn, my lot do get a lot of meat.....but this time of year there are not so many calves to be shot so meat ration goes down, plus its not too nice feeding meat in the warmer summer months & hounds tend to go on complete feed for the summer. Once September is here & they have to start working again then I feed more meat, there tends to be a rush of calves in Sept.Oct, plus less flies!
