I know this is a dog board but wondered if anybody could help me with this.  My 14 year old Russian Blue cat seems to be developing little lumps on her body.  She started with a couple and now has quite a few.  They are skin coloured and don't seem to be hurting her at all.  When I took her to the vet last year with the first one he said they were old age lumps.  She now has a bald patch just behind her neck too.  Do you think he is right?  Thanks for your help

If it's any help, my 19 year old tabby has a few lumps and bumps, and they are harmless - she's had oen for about 10 years now - I also know quite a few old dogs with lumps and bumps, also harmless.  Older animals do seem to get them, often they are fatty tissue lumps.  If you're worried then by all means get her checked out, of course!

My dog Taz 12 years old now has lumps all over his body and I was told they were just fatty cells (vet took a sample and looked under microscope and let me look too), basically was told  due to old age too.
