Hi I adopted a Lhaso Apso in 1994 he was a show dog that had supposivly won many show and now was retired.  I could have gotten all of his papres for 5000.00 but i just wanted a companion.  My question is how do i find any info on 1989-1994 champions by the name Casanova, I know that he has a much longer name but over the years i have forgotten.

You will need to finds out his name. Then you can contact the Kennel Club who can send you his show record.  That will be all awards that count toward inclusion in the stud book.  Thsi does depend oj the breed, but will include CC (Challenge Certificates wh9ich are needed for a dog to become a Champion) and RCC wins, as well as placings in the Open class some breeds only first others to third.

If you remember the name of the breeder you may still be able to find them on the net if they're still breeding and showing ;)  it might help you remember the name :D

I'm guessing you're American, so maybe contacting the American Breed clubs and asking about the history of the champions  of theose4 dates will bring something to light ?
