l am seeking to offer/buy a six month old flatcoat dog, l currently lost one of my flatcoats due to illness.

You could try rescue, if you email me I'll give you the rescue address. Altrernatively have you asked Mrs Johnson? Although she is litter register secretary she does sometimes know of older dogs which are being rehomed. Do you want a working dog, show or pet?
Also try downstream@ukonline.co.uk as our FT sec may know of a suitable dog.
As Briedog says a flatcoat of that age is often hard to find, if you have flatcoats you must be aware of this already. I can ask around if that will help.
