Hi We have a staffordhsire bull puppy who is 14 weeks old, the problem we have is that the puppy keeps chasing the dog all the time, we are crate training the dog, who stays in the living room, during the day, and the cat because the dog keeps chasing him, is trying we think to stay out of the way of the day.

As a family we are really concerned if they are not socialised together properly, the dog with do a lot of harm to the cat very soon.

can you offer any advice?  

Max the puppy still chases the cats , the other 3 don't care much (even for the 4-5 stray cats that make themselves cozy on our carpet). I think with age they just get bored , and less rambunctious. I'd say it depends on how the cat is aswell , our cats and strays usually just paw max in the nose and he yelps and runs away then just goes to sleep.
