A while ago I posted a message to see if anyone had any experience of acupunture and got some really helpful replies.Encouraged I took my sheltie to the vet (when I finally found one who was prepared to try acupuncture) and he's had 4 sessions each costing £25.00. It's the best £100 I've spent in ages, it was a great success and he's no longer limping and can keep up with my other sheltie. He'll probably need to keep going back for top up treatments but that will be well worth it.It's worth persevering as the more senior vet in the practice had told me it would be a waste of time trying acupunture.

Glad to hear it has been of some use; it does not suit all dogs or people, but when it works it can be spectacular.
