I've rec'd an e-mail from e-bay saying that I have been removed from their website.  I've only purchased goods and the only thing that I did last week was pay for something on a different computer!

Is there any reason why I would be removed for doing this?

I would double check with eBay if they have sent you the email before you do anything, don't reply to the email at all and don't click any links on it, go to eBay from your search bar and ask the question from there, they will tell you what to do if it is a scam, or of coure if the email is from them then they will be able to tell you why they terminated the account.

Is it a spoof ? go to e bay & log on & look in your messages in my e bay there are loads os spoofs doing the rounds I get loads & check on e bay then send an e mail to them & theyb report it to the ISP provider of the sender

The E mail addy for spoof e mails is spoof@ebay.com

i have had this and ebay and paypal have told me they will only address you by your name so if you get an email saying dear member or user then its a spoof .....

Ohhh thanks for that.  it did just say e-bay member and as it has been sent here at work I thought it was very strange as I only have dealings with them at home and on my home e-mail address!

I don't have any messages on my e-bay account so it looks like a spoof.  Thanks you lot you're great :d

lol that is definitely a spoof mail, make sure you report it(they send you two e mails back re what to do but they also comtact the ISP which is the important bit)
