i mated daisy 2 weeks ago and for the last 3 days she has been sick (just bile) and yesterday i noticed that she has some spots on her face and also under her front legs and in the creases of her hind legs, they do not seem to be bothering her at all. Just wondering, before i stress her out by taking her to the vets, if anyone else has had this happen, whether it could be her hormones?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanx
im no expert on dogs lol. but i know wen i was pregnant with my son i was told that your skin can ether get rearly spotty or clear up its down to the hormones ! maybe its the same in dogs :) .
im sure someone on here whos had experience of this will be along shortly to give you some advise! :)

Hi there
My dog gets spots, usually around her face, especially under her chin. The vet said that some breeds are more prone to it then others and the spots are caused by a little mites in the hair follicle. There's not alot you can do about it and normally problems occur if the dog starts to scratch and then introduces a secondary infection, and then has to go onto antibiotics to clear it up. The spots are harmless enough and nothing to worry about and tend to appear when the dog is going through its 'teenage years' (2 - 2 1/2 years old) or when the dog is run down.
She also vomits up a thick, yellow, liquid. Again, the vet said this is due to her digestive system and that it is to do with her eating habits. We feed her two small meals a day (morn and evening) and this has helped. Again, he said its nothing to worry about, just try looking at her diet and when she is eating. I ty not to feed her too much protein (rawhide especially) and making sure she eats after her walks. This has all helped.
