I'm too far from you but highly recommend the Bichon - our family has bred various breeds throughout our lives - before settling down to breeding the Bichon exclusively. They are the most affectionate breed we've encountered! They also don't shed and are non-allergenic. They are the true meaning of "lap dog" as ours want to be with us and generally in our lap all the time - so sweet! Janet R.
