OK, my pup has become quite faddy with her food - well to be honest, she was difficult to feed from the start, as she would rather be interacting with things/people/other dogs than settle to eat a meal. We gradually changed her over from Royal Canin to Burns over a period of three weeks. She intially loved the Burns, and we though 'hooray! she's eating', only for her to go off that. I contacted Burns and they said that if she wasn't finishing a meal (her minibites), we could suppliment either some or al of the mini-bites for Canine Extra, which is larger kibble and comes up as a smaller looking amount for the weight she needs, which is 250g (staggered across three meals now she is 14 weeks). We tried this to no avail, so now we give her 200g of Burns (a mix of 100g of mini-bites and 100g Canine Extra) with two tablespoons of Nature diet, and either a little warm water, or two tablespoons of weak chicken stock. This she loves, but I am worried her meals have become too complicated, particularly as she is a german sheoherd, and I know they have a predisposition to digestive problems. Her stools are fine (a little yellow if I am honest, but she has no problems with going), and she poos about twice a day (occasionally three times a day, but usually twice). Does this sound ok for a pup of her age? Do you think we should give her the kibble only and let her leave it until she gets 'starving' enough to eat it as it is? The reason I tried so hard with getting her to eat is her food refusal was going on for about three weeks, where she would eat about two mouthfuls of food from her bowl and then not touch it again, and by next meal time she seemed even less bothered. Any advice?
If you're happy making chicken stock etc for each meal then it sounds fine. She's eating it and her stools sound fine.
If it's a bit of a pain to prepare, you could switch to something more appetising like a wet food. Imo the best wet food (nutritionally and tastewise!) is Nature Diet: www.naturediet.net

It sounds to me that she doesn't really like the kibble and prefers a moist food.
You say she enjoys the Burns if it is mixed with 2 tablespoons of Naturediet. Why not feed just Naturediet? All my dogs (Goldies, Dobes and a Sussex Spaniel) are fed on Naturediet and feeding time is a complete frenzy, they absolutely love it. When I first got the Spaniel she was on dried food and was completely disinterested, as soon as I changed her over to ND she ate with enthusiasm.
ND also do varieties for a sensitive digestion so I am sure you would find something to suit her, speak to the ND advisors, they are very helpful. Also if you order from them it works out cheaper and they deliver free.
Thanks for those replies. I think I will change her over to naturediet. However, I have been working all week (I usually work from home) and my partner says she has been pooing about 4-5 times a day, which is more than normal, so we are thinking of taking her to the vets just for a check-up, as the vet was concerned that pooing this much might indicate a digestion problem. I will take her to the vets and let you guys know what the vets opinion is.... but thanks for the comments, it is appreciated.
