Brilliant, hope you have lots of fun with them both! Let us know how it all goes. :-) 8 weeks seems a little young for a toy dog mind you, I didn't get my Cavs until 10 weeks?
I brought my papillon puppy home at 8 weeks and she was more than ready to leave her mum and littermates. Obviously she was tiny (1lb 6oz) but she had a good appetite on her and soon grew.
Years ago I bought a yorkie puppy which I was told was seven weeks. When looking at the KC papers later I realised she was only 5 1/2 weeks and had no teeth! Didn't do her any harm though as she lived a long and healthy life and finally went to the bridge at the age of 16 1/2 years.

well i have been to get my puppy, she is doing great and getting along fine with my other cavalier, and my 5 month old cat likes her too. i am going to take her to the vets for a health check and 1st vacs at weekend. her nose is still slightly pink, will this change? i don't mind if it does not she is still beautifull.
You lucky thing you. We are due to get our CKC Blenheim boy in November and can't wait

Lucky you! Yes it's perfectly normal to have patches of pink on the nose at a young age, in fact I have heard of noses not filling in until 2 years old occasionally! Let us know how she settles in. :-)

Don't say that, my Spanish hasn't got all of her nose pigment yet, her dad's breeder says that it can take at least 6 months, once all the teeth have come in. I'm getting very anxious now as she's 11 weeks old :d

Sorry, it was meant to be comforting - it may take a while but they'll probably get there in the end :-D
