Did anyone see supernanny last night? That is the kind of family I would hate to deal with, the mum thought she was right all the time and didnt sound like she wanted to listen to Jo and the dad kept agreeing with everything which just made you think he was humouring her?? These parents ask for help and then dont follow it through!! Unbelieavable! Did anyone else feel this way?

Similar to a lot of dog owners when they ask for advice.

They often belong to the "Yebbut" brigade.

Every time you offer a possible solution, they place the obstacle of "yebbut MY dogs is a x, y, z and is "different" as an excuse for its behaviour

The Nanny is brilliant tho' isn't she At first the brats parents were laughing about his behaviour & forgetting they had other children

Just been shopping & their was a child really playing up & screaming, two other children's faces said it all I heard one little girl say to her mum"mummy that was naughty of that boy taking the baby's cuddly(toy) wasn't it. He shouldn't do it" & the other little girl's expression was"OMG he's getting us children a bad name"look.

Just like some people fail to treat & train their dogs correctly, parents do the same to their children

lol  @ "yebbut"  - Why do they bother asking for advice?

I wish I had seen last night's prog. My OH hates it and doesn't remind me it's on.  Other children's bad behaviour is great for reinforcing good in your own.  I remember saying things like "oh dear, well I am so pleased you don't behave like those children" & "that poor mummy, mustn't it be awful for her"

What made me smile was that the two well behaved children were obviously younger that the bratish one !
