There are two types of entroprium I believe and one isn't hereditary!
I do wonder this quite often and wonder why many defects in animals are hereditary but the same aren't in people. I suppose really it's because we don't have enough length of history in people to know whether it is or not!

Add to that, our litters are smaller and we don't have many litters as a rule, and we take so long to get round to having litters :D :D :D So our generations are over a longer timescale, and humans rarely keep a record of their breeding details ;) ;)
