Hi there,

In the past 3 days me and my partner have noticed that our bull terrier has not been herself, she threw up on sunday, just the once, then ever since then has been really quiet and sleepy, (really down in the dumps). Usually she is full of life, playing with our other bullie, giving out huge kisses and cuddles, very alert, but it seems now that she has no energy, sleeps most of the day, not as loving - likes to be in her bed and left alone to sleep, also she has a decreasing appetite. we also noticed, as she is white, her skin becoming really pink all over her body especially on her nose and ears, also little red spots.

Can anyone give me any clues or advise on what could be wrong with her - all i do no is that she is due in season soon but they breeders we got her off said they have never noticed her to change like this.

Sorry I can't be of any help but,  if she's been like that for 3 days I would be taking her to the vets.

Do you think she may have eaten something she shouldn't have?
It could be a blockage of some sort.
I hope she feels better soon anyway.

ICACIA - Hi, you'll probably no me from the Bullie Bar??? Its Jinx thats not herself. I spoke to JoyP (jinx's original home) on Sunday and she thinks it could just be because she due in season. It could be something she might of ate but with us knowing she is due in season we've both been keeping and extra close eye on her just incase our male pup tries to mount her also looking for bleeding as we'll have to keep them as seperated as much possible when she is in season, i havnt seen her eat anything she shouldnt and asking andy niehter has he, but it could still be a possibility.

She's a little happier today, ate all of her dinner last night and breakfast this morning, no vomiting at all so thats some good news.

Still keeping a very close eye on her and behaviour though, if she isnt any better we will be having a trip to the vets : )
