Jenna has had a bit of an accident with the pig rails, she got her leg stuck under one, she moved quickly and got it caught. She is limping and is lame on it. Vet couldn't give her anything for pain, although she hasn't yelped. when would be the earliest I can take the rails out.

I generally take the rails out at about a week, when the pups are getting big enough to get themselves stuck beneath them.

think it depends greatly on the breed. Mine stay in for 3-4 weeks & I raise them as the pups grow. probably with a smaller less clumsy breed they could come out earlier.

Do you have any arnica? If she appears to be in pain, then I would give her some arnica.
