I got home today and Alfie had been a bit poorly, he had diarrohea - everywhere !

He just isnt himself, I have taken his temperature and it is 38.1 so that I believe is normal.  All he wants to do is sleep, he wasnt interested in his walk and when he gets up he seems to have stiff back legs.  I have checked him over and he seems fine, now I dont know if I should be phoning the vet or not, his poo is of a "pudding" consistency not really watery and no blood was evident.  Its just the stiffness of his legs that im really worried about, could it be something more than just a tummy bug ? should I get him into the vets tomorrow or should I be phoning the emergency vet ?

I'd take him to the vet Claire.
