Oh Manny!  The air compressed to the way you are describing wouldn't do much good for my keyboard and pc, as mentioned in the second post!!

If anyone had WATCHED the programme, they wouldn't have seen the trainer trailing yards and yards of hose & big bottles of air, MannyG :D - they would have seen her with an itsy-bitsy aerosol spray :D

LOL Manny - as the first post said right from the beginning : "I watched "It's me or the dog"...."  anyone can see from this that it was a TV program they were talking about and seeing that 'most' of us are from the UK surely your first question should have been "...oh is this a TV program in the UK, haven't seen it over here in Canada ..."  And anyone searching for the use of compressed air on a dog would surely read all the posts from beginning to end and realise (from following through properly) that we aren't talking about using high pressure compressed air on dogs, jeesh :)

Oh how this forum lightens my day sometimes, something to smile and laugh about in almost every post :)

Has something gone wrong with this post, I keep seeing the numbers of posyts going up since yesterday and evertime I look its Boxermums same above, the increase in post numbes dont coincide with that.

New posts are not always entered at the bottom of each post - eg.  If a reply has been made to poster A and poster A is half way up page then the new reply will be entered under that post  myself there ;)

Look up the whole post and you will probably see posts that you haven't read before - that's kind of what I was trying to say but realised it came out in doubledutch ! :)

You need to look through the thread as there are some replies - I have replied to your post relating to operant conditioning for instance, as you posted incorrect information.

I didn't see the episode that featured the truly terrifying "Teddy Pom-Pom" - although you can't help but fear for the future of any dog lumbered with that name! - although I have seen others in the series. What I'm always left wondering is how effective the "treatment" (for wont of a better word) is in the long run since it's the owners who seem to need more training than the dogs. Can you really change the habits of people who have positively encouraged the bad behaviour you see the poor dogs displaying?
