new flu strain that mutates to the dogs causing runny nose, sneezing, off their food and and then a blocked nose towards the end of it, the whole family had it then mmy 3 dogs got it, since i have heard of a couple of cases,
so if u get the sniffles becareful

Let me get this right ,there is a new strain of human influenza around & dogs can get it ?

Odd I'm seriously immune system compromised(I have virtually no immune system) & my surgery is really on the ball re new influenza strains & patients like me get hauled in for advice & jabs, so I find it very odd I've heard nothing, I'm seeing one of my vets socially tomorrow so will check with her as well as my GP

The new mutation flu is not the human one but one from horses!  This is going round America bit time at the moment, just had someone in my breed advise us of this.  Not heard from flu being passed from human's to dogs or vice versa!

Oh I know about that one it has devastated the greyhound racing in some parts of the USA My Vet friend has just left & she knew about that one, but not one that has come from human flu & my GP surgery & immunologist(sp)hadn't heard of any new human flu either

We too just had the horse flue one in our paper last week, kinda scarey always something knew :(
