My 9 year old rough collie who is 10 in december, lassie has got a lump come up on the bottom lining of her eye and the lump has gotten to a certain size and stopped growing.Lassie has had this lump about 2 months.Has anyone got any idea of what it could be?

If my dog had got a lump on his eye I would be taking him to the vet straight away, not waiting for it to grow or change and not waiting two months without doing anything.

It isn't possible for anyone however experienced to make a diagnosis on a webforum and the only person who could do this is a vet.

Please take your dog to the vet to get this checked out urgently as her sight could be at risk.

Good luck.

Lumps on the eye lid seem to be quite common in my breed, they are usually some type of wart, not harmful in themselves but they can cause a lot of irritation & if they are rubbing the eye itself can affect the eye sight. Take her to the vet, they may decide to remove it or to leave it alone if it's not causing a problem.(Or do what my vet did & cut it off with a pair of scissors  (it worked, although it did eventually grow back)
