Anyone else feel they wish some of the puppy "necessary" things could be spread out a bit?  My bunch will be 8 weeks on Monday, and the first is going to his new home then.  Today they had weekly nail trim and nose roll clean, followed by trip to Vet for first vaccination, and 1st of 3 wormer treatments this evening, then another wormer tomorrow and Sunday, and Microchipping on Sunday!  What a big weekend for little babes!

Well done for clipping their claws - one of mine arrived with very long claws and her first evening with us was spent having her claws clipped carefully - she didn't seem to mind though. :-)

Pugs are almost uniformly demons when it comes to claws and teeth cleaning, when they grow up, but as babes they are OK.  However, as pups they spend a lot of time boxing and bopping each other on the face, so it is vital to keep nails done at least each week, to minimise chance of eye damage.

Just think though Gwen in a weeks time you can put you feet up even if only for 1/2 hour and reflect.

I have been in the grooming room all flaming night getting dogs ready. Now off the pack the car..

I am sure it is insanity

SWD's are wonderful when it comes to claws :d  It's just a lie down, roll over, give me your paw and away you go.  Now Pomeranian's on the otherhand, NO lets not go there :d

My Cocker is a nightmare!!!! I've been doing the puppies EVERY week as I want them to get used to it from an early age, they don't seem to mind at all.
