Good grief! yesterday was quite a day... Got up early to walk the dogs, but they only got 20 minutes - Opi split her pad the other day, so I had her on flexi, and she was looking so miserable at not being able to leap around the undergrowth we came home early :(

9.30 - got my customer.  My worst, smallest, most pain in the a**e customer.  A tiny Yorkie called Missy, of all things - she hates being groomed with a vengeance, even though she's been groomed every day since she was about 3 weeks old, and she hates baths more - she actually thrashes around, I have to hold her up with one hand and wash her with the other.

11.00 - nearly done with the little wench, when my kennel boss rings me.  can I come in today?  Not really, but I was skint.  She wanted me to brush out Bella, an ageing Gordon Setter.  Fine, no problem.  So I get there at 1pm, to find out she wants me to groom Bella, brush out 6 cavaliers, let all the dogs out for a pee and give a lab a pill.  Getting a little peeved now!

I finally made it back to Faversham at about half 5, to find that Opi's chewed her bandage to bits and I've run out.  Off to the vet to buy some more - half an hour later, and they finally got the vetrap to show up on the system so I could buy it! arg!

Got out of the vet, and all I could think of was chips - so off to the kebab shop.  As if it's that simple!  I was waiting behind a peugot who was waiting for another car to come past, when all of a sudden he decided to reverse into me. double arg!  We both drove on to pull into whatever space we could find, and on the way in (going forwards, a parking maneuver I just can't do!) I scraped past a jeep.  With the people in it. doh!  They got out to check the bumper and got back in, so I figured I was okay, and the first guy came running over all panicked, looking horrifed at the mess of my bumper - to which I replied, "don't worry about it, that was there already!" no fresh damage thank dog! relief all round, so off I went to get my chips.

Come out of the chippy, and the jeep people are out again, pointing at their bumper and my car.  Wandered over, turnes out I've creased the bumper ever so slightly.  Brief moment of suspense while the woman decided what to do - thankfully, nothing, not worth the hassle with the insurance.

phew!  I hope I don't have a day like that again anytime soon!

Wow, I think you've had your year's worth of bad luck there!!

I swear it must be the time of year. I have had so many days like that in the last couple of weeks. I have been bitten by a dog, broken an expensive pair of glasses (well they fell apart in my hands), dropped trays of biscuits, burnt myself, had the dogs run in to my poor old knees, come within an ace of falling down stairs, scraped my car, lost keys, forgotten importaint calls I need to make. the list goes on and on and it is most unlike me - unless of course I really am loosing my marbles.. Or perhaps I could blame my biorythms?

Does help to get it out of your system :D

sounds like you had a very bad day

I agree that this time of year seems to do something to you - for me ive lost all ability to read - i dont mean misreading the odd word i mean entire sentances and then spending the next hour trying to do something because the words i took in made no sense only to realise it that wasnt what it said at all
