Are you attending ring craft ?there are plenty in the Cheshire area they will have schedules of up and coming dog shows you could attend.

www.prodogs.co.uk   you could look here they have a list of open and champ shows but I would recommend going to ring craft I live in Cheshire and go to ring craft in Warrington dont know if that is near to you if it is I will give you details also I would recommend doing a few companion shows first for experience I found them very good for gaining experience.

In ring craft you learn how to stand your dog in my case its to learn how to stack the dog and how to walk with them too we usually have a match once a month its like a pretend show where you go against each other in the right class for your dog and they also have schedules available for up and coming shows you should try and find one every one is very helpfull and its good for your dog to socialise with other dogs as well.

I did a companion show on Sunday that was run by the bebbington ring craft club which is not a million miles from you ,you should post a post on here and ask any one if they know the address or telephone number or if there is a ring craft near chester ,

thats fine if you only go a few times but once you go you will enjoy your self hope this helps
